DAVID KASIARZ

Senior Vice President, Global Compensation & Benefits

David Kasiarz is the Senior Vice President, Global Compensation & Benefits at the American Express Company. He is responsible for all executive and global compensation, rewards, retirement, global mobility programs, and health and wellness strategies.

David joined American Express in 2008. He previously held executive leadership roles in Compensation, Benefits and Organization Capability at The Pepsi Bottling Group, PepsiCo and Pizza Hut. He also held management level positions at The Hay Group and Independence Blue Cross. In 2007 he was honored with the prestigious C. Everett Koop Award for Industry Leadership in Health Care Policy and has received the National Business Group on Health’s Platinum and Gold Awards. In 2011, he was named Benefits Professional of the Year by Employee Benefits News. Several of his programs have also been profiled by both trade and mainstream media outlets.

David holds a B.A. from Temple University, an M.S. from the Hahnemann Medical College and a Ph.D from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.
