Barbara Armstrong is a Principal at Kahler Slater with more than 28 years of experience in strategic planning and design of the built environment. Her specific passion is to create great workplace experiences by integrating and expressing culture in the environment.  

She serves as the leader of Kahler Slater’s workplace environments research team. Barbara has worked with many prominent organizations, including Delivering Happiness @ Work, bswift, Samsung, Manpower, MillerCoors, Martin’s Point Health Care, and Great Place to Work®.  

Barbara is a regular contributing writer on Forbes.com’s Leadership Forum, focusing on how design impacts business. She has presented at many national conferences and webinars, including the Great Place to Work® 2011 Conference, and has collaborated with Great Place to Work® on webinars related to Kahler Slater’s research on Best Companies’ best practices in the workplace environment.
