Senior Director of External Communications

Pamela is responsible for SAS' worldwide external communications program, including public relations, executive communications counsel and the company’s globally top-ranked employment brand. Pamela oversees corporate and marketing PR, crisis communications, social media, print and digital publications, and corporate social responsibility reporting.

Working in concert with Internal Communications, Marketing, and Corporate Legal Counsel, her team developed a social media program, including guidelines and a training curriculum, from the ground up. She has also managed internal communications and analyst relations at SAS. Prior to SAS, Pamela held communications positions at national music retail chain Record Bar, Inc., and at Duke University’s News Service. She earned a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
