Amy Lyman
Amy Lyman, Ph.D. is a co-founder, and currently the Director of Corporate Research for the Great Place to Work® Institute. In addition to overseeing Research and Analysis for the Institute, Amy Lyman works with leaders and managers on the interpretation of results and the design of action plans, serving as an advisor to leaders as they seek to transform their organizations into great workplaces. She works with individuals and organizations over the long term to support the attainment of desired goals.
Prior to founding the Great Place to Work® Institute, Amy taught Organization Development, Systems Theory and Qualitative Research Methods in the Department of Applied Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, Davis. She began her consulting work while a research fellow at the Wharton Center for Applied Research at the University of Pennsylvania. She has authored many articles about business management issues and has been a featured speaker at numerous management development workshops and conferences focused on general management, leadership development and strategic planning.
Amy Lyman received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis. She is an active member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
